About Me

Hi! When I began this blog back in 2012, I was full-time caregiver for my 92 yr. old bedfast mother-in-law. She passed away in Sept. of 2013 after two long years. I was about to go stark raving mad being pretty much housebound. I was not only caring for her, but also caring for two grandsons. One of them is now in school, but he has been replaced with another newborn grandson. So, I am still caring for two grandsons (Kash who’s 2 1/2 yrs. and Jackson who was just born in Feb. 2014). Maw Maw is having a blast but is exhausted!

I will ask you right up front to forgive me if I ever sound “preachy” in any of my posts. I am an Apostolic believer. My goal is only to share from my experiences in hopes that it might help someone along the way.  We hear so much these days about “paying it forward”.  In the bible, they refer to it as “being a witness”.  (“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8) Either way, I hope someone will benefit from what I have to say and share.

To peak your interest a bit more I’d like you to know I am a sinner saved by grace.  I spent 2/3^rd of my life in the world and of the world.  It is only in the last 15 years that I have truly been changed by the Holy Spirit inside and out.  My experiences in the first 46 years of my life are truly what brought me to where I am today.  If I share just one nugget of truth that helps you then my mission has been accomplished.

I’m a positive thinking, outgoing, people loving personality that can’t stand “negative Nellies or Neds”.  That does not mean you won’t hear an occasional pet peeve or rant on here.  (One of my favorite rants is regarding customer service.)  If you like to cry or bellyache about your place or situation in life don’t be surprised if I lack empathy.  I just don’t have a lot of time for people who desire to wallow in it.  So let’s dance!
